What is the NovaThreads® Lift?

Although technologies are constantly advancing for the treatment of various aesthetic features, many physicians will agree that there continues to be an unmet need in minimally invasive aesthetics for an actual “lift” of the skin and soft tissues, particularly in the face.

NovaThreads®, an exciting new addition to aesthetics, may just be the answer. NovaThreads have been used in Europe and in Asia for many years with great success, and have become a procedure performed in the United States. NovaThreads® are dissolvable threads that are placed under the skin to achieve lifting in areas that can include the brow, cheeks, the jowls and neck bands. The procedure is performed effortlessly in the office and is seemingly comfortable for patients. It achieves instant results that last anywhere from 9 to 12 months, sometimes up to 18 months, depending on how many threads are placed at the session and the level of skin laxity or excess the patient has.

The lower third of the face has traditionally been a difficult area to address with just injectable fillers, but with NovaThreads, lifting of the cheeks and tightening of the excess skin and bands in the neck is possible. Patients are also seeing very pleasing results from NovaThreads brow lifting.

At Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery, we are proud to be the premier practice in Evansville to offer this breakthrough procedure. If NovaThreads® are of interest to you, give us a call to schedule a consultation appointment.
